“Google Alerts” is a feature offered by Google that allows you to set up custom alerts for specific search terms, keywords, or phrases. When new content appears on the web that matches your alert criteria, Google will email you a notification.

Here's how it works:

  1. Go to Google Alerts: https://alerts.google.com
  2. In the drop-down menu, select the following settings
    1. How often
    2. Sources
    3. Language
    4. Region
    5. How many
    6. Deliver to:
      1. Email (Gmail)
      2. RSS

When someone publishes new content that matches your search term(s), Google will email you a notification with a summary of the article and a link to read more. This feature can be useful for:

  • Staying up-to-date on news related to your interests or industry
  • Monitoring mentions of your name, brand, or company
  • Tracking changes in public opinion or sentiment around specific topics
  • Finding new content related to a particular hobby or passion

Keep in mind that Google Alerts are not perfect and may miss some results or flag false positives. Additionally, they can be overwhelming if you set up too many alerts!
